It’s A Little Book by Lane Smith Picture Book Review

I don’t usually review board books, but this one is really cute! It’s A Little Book has really captured Stella’s attention, and she is the star at this week’s video review.

Fair is Fair by Sonny Varela Picture Book Review

Fair is Fair by Sonny Varela Picture Book Review This book was written by a friend of our family, Sonny Varela. I bought this book on my own, and all of the opinions I will share are totally my own. Sonny doesn’t even know that I am reviewing this book. We just got our copy at the end of last week, and all of the kids have enjoyed it.

Goran’s Great Escape by Astrid Lindgren Picture Book Review

Goran's Great Escape by Astrid Lindgren Picture Book Review

We even have a couple audio books of great children’s poetry that our kids listen to as a part of their learning. The poems are read by the authors or by actors, and it has been so fun to hear one child or another start quoting a poem in the voice of the actor only to have another sibling join in to finish. Maybe we’re just easily entertained, but I think it’s pretty fun. :)

Pigs From A To Z by Arthur Geisert Picture Book Review

Pigs From A To Z was the first Arthur Geisert book we discovered, at a library book sale when Liam was quite young. We loved it so much, that we snatched up Arthur Geisert’s Pigaroons (which I have reviewed before here). We have become big fans of Geisert’s intricate illustrations and the exploits of the pigs he draws.
